Leo in America

One of our Thursday volunteers Leo has been busy working at Camp America assisting with running music workshops. He has been responsible for running various activities including recording sessions, creating podcasts and radio shows.

Leo has been attending day trips with the children to Phillycam, a public access TV, to show them how television shows are made. The camp also put on a stage show, where he assisted the music department with live sounds.

Using the skills developed here at QM he has taught the children how to use Logic to recreate scenes from a popular film. This included the sound effects, dialogue and musical score.

We wish him the best of luck with the rest of the journey, and look forward to seeing him back at the studio in the near future.
